Lola Tung plays the role of Isabel “Belly” Conklin, the main character in the Amazon Prime Video original series, The Summer I Turned Pretty.
Laurel Park and John Conklin’s youngest kid is Belly. She is Steven Conklin’s younger sister. She and her family spent their summers at Cousins Beach with the Fisher family since she was a child. Each summer was unique and thrilling, with Belly becoming closer to the Fisher brothers with each passing year. Around the age of 12, she developed feelings for the eldest sibling, Conrad.
Belly used to be gawky and uncomfortable, but as she approaches her 16th birthday this summer, she is starting to turn heads–and it’s taking some getting used to.
