Bengaluru taxi driver hacked to death; wife suspects friends

On Wednesday, a 35-year-old taxi driver was allegedly hacked to death in Laggere, Nandini Layout, north Bengaluru, following a pointless disagreement.

Matti is Ravi. Chowdeshwari Nagar resident Ravi was attacked by some people he knew, according to the police. Pushpa, the wife of Ravi, named the suspects in her police report as Manju, Nagaraj alias Spot Naga, Gopi, Kiran, and others.

“On Wednesday night, my husband attended his friend Krishnamurthy’s birthday celebration. Upon his return home, he said that Manju and others had argued with him at the party over unimportant matters. Manju kept calling my husband’s cellphone throughout the night, pleading with him to meet them. Pushpa’s statement stated, “My husband walked outside and the suspects attacked him close to a motel.

According to the authorities, Ravi and the accused both worked for a political party during the most recent assembly elections.
