Queen Cleopatra Netflix Cast

Director Jada Pinkett Smith’s four-part documentary series Queen Cleopatra tells the real narrative of the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra.

One of history’s most well-known individuals is Cleopatra, though not in the way that we would define it in the present period. Other historical sources contend that the Egyptian queen’s story is only partially accurate, and many people believe that she gave her life to preserve her nation. Even if this seems contradictory, many historical truths are merely dependent on supposition and a few oral traditions.

    How did Cleopatra die?

Cleopatra VII, the last pharaoh of Ancient Egypt, is said to have died by suicide. According to historical accounts, she committed suicide by allowing herself to be bitten by an asp (a venomous snake) in 30 BC.
The circumstances leading up to Cleopatra’s death are complex and contested. After the Battle of Actium in 31 BC, Cleopatra and her lover Mark Antony were defeated by Octavian (later known as Emperor Augustus) and forced to flee to Alexandria, Egypt. When Octavian pursued them, Mark Antony committed suicide, and Cleopatra was left alone to negotiate with Octavian.
Cleopatra, fearing for her life and wanting to maintain her independence, reportedly arranged to meet with Octavian to discuss terms of surrender. However, she was also secretly plotting to escape to a distant land and start a new life with her wealth and loyal followers.
When Octavian discovered this plot, he confronted Cleopatra, and in the ensuing altercation, she reportedly took her own life by having an asp bite her. It is not clear whether the asp was actually used as the cause of death, as some accounts suggest that Cleopatra may have used poison or suffocation instead. Nonetheless, her death marked the end of the Ptolemaic dynasty and the beginning of Roman rule in Egypt.

    1. Honestly it is a waste of time , money and efforts as well you are trying to convince the whole world with a lie 😂😂😂 Cleo was Egyptian and wasn’t with a black skin what’s the hell you are trying to do guys !!!!! It’s our History it’s Egypt 🇪🇬 and when it comes to Egypt you should stand up 🆙 and showing total respect to the mother of the history

      1. She was Greek of the greek Ptolemaic dynasty ruling Egypt for 300 years. For that time and for the centuries to come the ruling and upper class of Egypt was greek. It was the Hellenistic Kingdom of Egypt. Even after Rome annexed Egypt, the culture remained hellenistic for another 7-8 centuries until it faded with the Arab dominion.

    2. كيلو باترا عمرها ما كانت زنجية كيلوباترا إغريقية أو يونانية بلاش تدليس وتغيير في الحقائق

    3. The movie makers is
      Forgers of history
      civilization thieves
They didn’t even bother to search for the truth
      shame on you

    4. We are not extinct yet, and they are falsifying our history in front of our eyes. Cleopatra of Macedonia and her Ptolemaic father are black-skinned, and Alexandria is the city that was built on the shore of the Mediterranean as a desert. How far will this absurdity go?

    5. In my opinion, this is one of the worst documentaries shown on Netflix. The series is full of historical inaccuracies, and the cast is not suitable for embodying a character like Queen Cleopatra.

    6. Stop falsifying Egyptian history. The skin of the Egyptians is like the people of the Mediterranean, and no one has the right to tell us our history. We are against cultural appropriation.
