The Tex Mex Motors squad established itself in El Paso, Texas, close on the border between Mexico and the United States. The team’s goal is to raise $250,000 before venturing farther into Mexico to find and refurbish even more vehicles.
Mike Coy is the shop manager and painter at Tex Mex Motor. Mike is in charge of the exhibition and paints several of the automobiles. He frequently chooses eye-catching styles and colours for the cars in order to increase their chances of being sold.
Robert ‘Rabbit’ Pitts
Tex Mex Motors’ sales guru is Robert Pitts, AKA Rabbit. Rabbits stated on the show that one of his “favourite things to do is talk people into buying something they don’t need.” He enjoys selling cars and purchased and sold his first vehicle when he was 16 years old.
Scooter Wreyton is an automobile scout. He travels to Mexico and returns autos to the Tex Mex Motors workshop. Scooter appears to be a gym buff as well as a vehicle enthusiast, based on his social media.
Wesley Zachary of Tex Mex Motors is the team’s master fabricator.
Mike characterises him as a “quiet genius.”
Wesley has been working on automobiles since he was five years old and says he “couldn’t begin to tell” how many cats he has worked on in his life.
Jaime Hjelm is the engine and electrical specialist of Tex Mex Motors. On her Instagram feed, she describes herself as a “garage gal.” Jaime owns Wicked Wrench Co., an auto repair shop. Her family owns and operates a big fleet of Chicago taxi cabs. Over the last 25 years, she has worked on thousands of engines.
Jenicio Adame is the company’s “rookie.” Jenicio is defined as a “El Paso local” who is still learning the ropes on the show. Mike describes himself as “all heart and determination.” Jenicio and his father own and operate Car Crafters in El Paso, Texas.
